UPDATE ON OONC’s CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT

Well, it’s Christmas Bird Count time again and our count will be going ahead on Saturday, January 2, with COVID-19 precautions being observed.

As usual, we can use all the extra sets of eyes out there that we can get so, if you would like to participate please let Doug Brown know by phone at 778-437-2048 or by email at dougbrown7003@gmail.com

There won’t be a post-count get-together because of COVID-19 restrictions.

The results will be compiled in a zoom meeting afterwards.

Be safe and well and have a Merry Christmas – Doug Brown

We hope that you all remain healthy during this COVID-19 pandemic and are listening to the current messaging from both provincial and federal healthcare bodies, encouraging all of us to stay home and limit going out anywhere, except for essential services.
Your Board of Directors has made a number of decisions that impact our club.
We have cancelled our Annual General Meeting this spring due to COVID-19 concerns.
We have also suspended our schedule of April-July 2020 hikes until further notice.
We remain optimistic that our activities (hikes) will resume later this summer when healthcare authorities indicate it is appropriate to do so.
